Corrections, questions, and how to reach the resident who runs this site.

Get in touch

This site is run by one San Antonio resident, not a press office. Messages are read.

Corrections come first. Every figure here traces to a primary document, and if one of them is wrong that matters more to us than the argument does. Tell us which number, on which page, and where you think the right one comes from — and it gets checked and corrected, with the change noted.

Also welcome: questions about the methodology, a source we have missed, a filing we have attributed to the wrong company, or an offer to help.

What happens to what you send

  • Messages are stored on this site and emailed to the person who runs it. They are not passed to anyone else.
  • An email address is optional. Leave it out and you simply will not get a reply.
  • Nothing you send here is added to the mailing list. That is a separate, deliberate choice you make yourself.

Want to be told when something happens?

Any decision on CPS Energy requires an act of the Texas Legislature, which next convenes in 2027. The mailing list exists to tell you when something real occurs — a bill filed, a hearing scheduled, a vote coming up, or a figure on this site corrected. Nothing else, and never sold or shared.

Supporting the site

Running this costs money — hosting, the domain, and the time spent keeping the rate data current. If you want to help with that, there is a Ko-fi link in the footer. Please read the note beside it first: this is not a registered non-profit, contributions go to the resident who built the site, and they are not tax-deductible.
